Damaged Territory - 0.10 preview #6


Update #6 of 0.10 - I been extremely busy with life in the past few weeks, and it's been really hard getting to work on the game. But I did manage to work on it - mainly fixing bugs and doing some backend work. I improved a bit some visuals and balanced the bumps on the ground. I finally started working on the jeep (only the model itself) but I don't have anything to show on that yet. The jeep is an important part in the game in order to apply the CTF mode - The only vehicle that can pickup the enemy's flag. While the mechanics are basically already implemented in the game, the challenging part will be on the AI of the jeep. The tank was easier because it moves slow so it's easier to apply the movement. The jeep moves really fast and needs to apply steering much earlier before seeing an obstacle. But I'm sure I'll manage it. The jeep's primary weapon will be an auto-aim machine gun - The player won't need to aim it and shoot, it'll be done automatically so he'll able to focus on movement. Secondary will be frag grenades, thrown automatically towards the nearest enemy.
